How often a number repeats
Across 2,471,074 pairs of consecutive spins on every table we capture, the same number came up twice in a row 2.71% of the time. A fair single-zero wheel gives 2.70% — one in 37.
Those two figures agreeing to a hundredth of a percent is the whole story. A repeat is not rare, not a glitch and not a sign: it is exactly as common as arithmetic says, and on a table running a spin every 30 seconds you should see one roughly every twenty minutes.
How long numbers actually go missing
The more interesting question is the other one. We measured 2,466,574 gaps — every stretch between two sightings of the same number:

- 84 spins 9 in 10 are shorter
- 168 spins 99 in 100 are shorter
- 597 spins longest we have recorded

So is a missing number due?
No. This is the part every article gets wrong, so plainly: the wheel does not know. After 597 spins without 31, the chance of 31 on the next spin was 1 in 37 — the same as every other number, and the same as it was on spin one.
The reason to watch a long absence is that it is genuinely unusual — the 99th percentile is 168 spins, so anything past that is rarer than one gap in a hundred. That makes it interesting. It does not make it owed.
