Live roulette records: the longest streaks in 19.5 million spins
How close does live roulette get to Monte Carlo's 26 blacks? Every record from 19.5 million real spins, checked against the raw results.
On 18 August 1913 the ball at the Monte Carlo casino landed on black 26 times in a row — still the most famous streak in roulette. We wanted to know how close live roulette gets today. So we went through every spin we have recorded on 164 live tables since February 2026 — 19,480,115 spins — and checked every record against the raw results.
- 22reds in a row
- 393spins without a zero

The longest run of one colour: 22 reds
On 28 September, Greek Roulette landed on red 22 times in a row. At 124 spins an hour it took just 9 minutes, start to finish. That is 4 short of Monte Carlo — and the closest any of our 164 tables has come.
GameData365 · 19,480,115 spins on 164 live tables, 11 February – 26 October 2026
How rare is that? From the wheel’s own maths, a run of 22+ of one colour starts about once in 7.5 million spins. In a sample our size that is two or three runs — and we saw one of 22 and one of 21. Even and odd went one better: 23 even numbers in a row on Arabic Roulette.
The longest wait for zero: 393 spins
Zero is one pocket in 37, so it turns up about every 37 spins on average. On 21 June, Quantum Roulette went 393 spins without a single 0 — about 5 h 11 min of play. It was not alone: the next four tables all went past 382.

The longest a number stayed away: 600 spins
Any single number is 1 in 37, just like zero, so long gaps are part of the game. The longest we have recorded: number 16 on Diwali Auto Roulette, missing for 600 spins on 8 October — about 6 h 41 min. The wheel’s maths puts a gap that long at about one in 13.8 million, so we expected to see it once or twice in all our data. We saw it once.

The same number five times in a row
Two in a row happens all the time. Three is notable. Five is a once-in-1.87-million event — and in 19.5 million spins it happened 6 times:
- number 29 on Roleta Brasileira, 4 August
- number 22 on Speed Auto Roulette, 2 September
- number 32 on Quantum Roulette, 3 September
- number 4 on Brazilian Roulette, 13 October
- number 25 on Elite Roulette, 17 October
- number 26 on Football French Roulette, 21 October
Each one is five separate rounds, about half a minute apart, each with its own round number from the provider — not a repeated reading.
Dozens and columns
A dozen covers 12 numbers, so it usually lands within a few spins. On 29 September, Auto Roulette went 48 spins without 25–36 — about 31 minutes. This is the rarest record on this page: the wheel’s maths gives roughly a one-in-8 chance of seeing a gap this long anywhere in all of our data.
The column record is close behind: the first column stayed away for 40 spins on London Roulette, 5 September. For how often shorter dozen and column streaks happen every day, see our roulette streak tracker guide.
How we checked every record
Long streaks are exactly where bad data hides: a missed spin in the middle of a run makes it look longer than it was. So a run counted only if every spin inside it arrived on time — within three times the table’s normal spin interval, and never more than four minutes apart. Any longer pause, from our side or the table’s, ended the run. Droughts were counted only between two spins we actually saw.
Then we re-read each top record spin by spin: every round has its own id from the provider, with no duplicates. On the zero record, our connection dropped briefly and 10 spins were filled back in from the table’s own results history; those are the table’s real results, so they stay. Dates are UTC. The full method behind all our numbers is on the methodology page, and the yearly picture is in live roulette statistics 2026.
