Most rounds end low
Of 65,769 recorded rounds, 51.4% paid under 2×. The median round was 1.94×. Only 9.7% reached 10×, and 0.94% reached 100×.
That shape is the game, not a cold spell. A crash game that paid over 2× more often than not would not be a business, so half your rounds ending below it is the normal state — which means a “cold run” of three or four is not a run at all. It is a Tuesday.
How long the runs really get
Counting every unbroken stretch of rounds under 2× across all 11 games:

- 141 reached 8

The longest we have ever recorded is 16 consecutive rounds under 2×, on Rocket. Runs of five are routine — over a thousand of them. Runs of twelve happened eight times in 65,769 rounds.
Can you predict when one ends?
No, and this is not a matter of opinion. Crash games are provably fair: the multiplier for a round is determined by a seed committed before the round starts, which is the whole point of the mechanism and the thing you can verify yourself after the fact.
A round that has already been decided cannot be influenced by the ten before it. Nine low rounds do not load the tenth. If a site tells you otherwise it is either mistaken or selling something.
What a cold run is good for is knowing where you are. Eight in a row is genuinely uncommon — 141 times in 65,769 rounds — and knowing that is different from, and more useful than, believing it owes you a payout.
